Bijoyanjali Food Private Limited is out in the village of Kamdebpur in the Hooghly district. It’s a quiet place compared to the city, but we have plenty to do here with our food business. Our facility is right in the heart of the village, and most of the people working here live just a short walk away. We handle various food products, mostly focusing on things that are grown and processed locally. It’s simple, honest work. We spend our time sorting through the stock and getting everything packed up for the market. The roads around Kamdebpur can be a bit rough, especially after a heavy rain, so getting our goods out to the main roads is sometimes a struggle. We don’t have a big marketing department or any polished corporate language. Our building is just a functional workspace where we get things done. Sometimes we sit under the trees during our break and talk about the local news or the weather. It feels more like a community effort than a regular company. We take our work seriously but we don't make a big show of it. If you asked anyone in the village, they could point you to where we are. We’ve been a part of this area for quite some time now and we plan to stay. It’s just a group of local people doing what they know best with food. It works for us.
