Bhukta Peanut Manufacturing Private Limited

Our manufacturing unit is located in Panthahari, over in the Chandannagar area of Hooghly. It’s registered under the name Bhukta Peanut Manufacturing Private Limited. We operate out of a space cared for by Surajit Bhukta. Chandannagar has a lot of history, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. We deal with peanuts, and it’s a messy, loud, but rewarding process. The smell of roasted nuts is pretty much always in the air around our building. It’s not a high-tech factory. It’s a place with machines that have seen some years and floors that get swept a dozen times a day. We have a small crew from the local area who help us out. Being in West Bengal, specifically Hooghly, gives us good access to the supplies we need. The road to Panthahari can be a bit bumpy, especially during the monsoon season, but we've gotten used to it. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy packaging designs. We focus on getting the peanuts processed and out the door. It’s a family-run kind of vibe even though we are a private limited company. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor rather than behind a desk. It’s simple work, and we try to do it without making things complicated. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and plan to stay for as long as we can keep the machines running and the peanuts roasted.
