Betbani Rice Mill Private Limited

Our mill is located in Madhubatisripur, which is right near Goghat. It is a nice area, quite green around the edges of our property. We have been operating here in Kamarpukur for a while now. The work is steady but it is definitely hard on the body. It is not like an office job where you get to sit in a comfortable chair all day. We are always on our feet, moving around the heavy equipment and checking the bags. There is a lot of noise and heat once things get going. We have a small office in the front where we keep the ledger and the phone, but most of the action happens in the back. We do not have a mission statement or any of those corporate slogans. We just want to get the work done well and go home to see our families. Some days the machines run perfectly, and other days they just don't want to cooperate. We just take it as it comes and try not to get too stressed. It is a very local operation. Most of our workers live within walking distance of the gate. We know their families and they know ours. It is a real community thing for us. We do not do much advertising because word of mouth is enough in this town. The rice we process goes out to the local markets nearby. It is a simple cycle that we have been part of for a long time.
