Arcvac Forge Cast Ltd.

Our place is out in Panchghara Dankuni. Arcvac Forge Cast Ltd. has been operating from this location for some time now. It's a big industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around the roads. We deal with forging and casting, which is heavy work and gets pretty hot in the summers. The floors are concrete and usually have a bit of grime on them, which is expected in this line of work. We aren't in a shiny office building in the city. Instead, we have our sheds and machines right here in Dankuni where the actual work happens. Most of the guys have been here for years and they know the machines better than anything else. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There is always a lot of metal around and the smell of the shop is something you just get used to after a week. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. It's more about being on the floor and making sure the casts are coming out right. Panchghara is a bit out of the way for some people, but for what we do, it works perfectly. We have enough space for the heavy equipment and the lorries to come in and out. It’s a straightforward operation. No one wears suits here. We just wear what works for a day at the forge.
