Arahan Global Techno School

Our school is located in Gobra Sahib Tala, which is part of the Chanditala area in Hooghly. It's a bit of a drive out here if you're coming from the main city, but it's a good spot for a school. The air is a little clearer than it is in the middle of town. We have a lot of local families from around the Hooghly district who send their kids to us. The building is a bit of a mix of old and new sections. We spend our mornings checking the attendance and making sure the fans are working because it gets quite humid here in West Bengal. The kids bring their lunches in metal boxes and you can smell the food all through the corridors around noon. We aren't a massive institution, just a local place where we try to keep things moving. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of our location, but we manage. We spend our afternoons filing papers and talking to parents who walk over from the nearby houses. The streets around here are narrow and people often park their bicycles right up against the wall. It’s a simple life at the school. We just keep to our routine and make sure the gates are locked tight at the end of the day. There is a small pond nearby and sometimes the frogs get a bit loud after it rains.
