AKD NIDHI LIMITED

Our office for AKD Nidhi Limited is located at 185/400/B Rajib Gandhi Road, which people around here call the G. Colony in Kotrung. We are in the Hooghly district, specifically in the Konnagar area. The address used to be known as Old 912, so some of the older residents still call it that. It is a busy street, and there is always something going on outside our door. The office itself is not very large. We have a few desks squeezed in and some chairs for when people come in to talk about their savings. We do a lot of paperwork every day, mostly filling out forms and updating the passbooks for the local residents. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds outside and the occasional rickshaw bell ringing. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the files and ledgers, it can get a bit cluttered. Most of us have lived in Konnagar for years, so we know the people who walk through our doors. It’s a practical setup for a Nidhi company. We stay open until the evening, making sure all the daily transactions are recorded properly before we lock up the shutters and head home.
