Adhrita Fashion is located right here in Saradapally, Bhadreswar. If you are looking for number 69, that is where we stay busy most days. It is a quiet enough area compared to the main city, but we still have our hands full. We don’t have any polished showrooms with bright lights. It’s just a regular building where we get our work done. We started small and we stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. A lot of the people who come to us are neighbors or folks from nearby. We know their names and what they like. It’s a nice way to do business. We spend a lot of time sorting through different patterns and checking the stitching on every piece. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to sit and wait or work by the window. It’s just part of life here. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to provide decent clothes that don't fall apart after one wash. The floor is usually covered in scraps of fabric by the time we close up. We sweep it all up and start again the next morning. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Bhadreswar is a good place to be. It’s home for us, and the business feels like part of the family. We don't need much else to be happy with our work.
