Smriti Herbs & Biofuel Farm

Smriti Herbs & Biofuel Farm is located right inside Lucky Complex. It’s a bit of an interesting mix, having herbs and biofuel work going on in one place. We spend a lot of time thinking about plants, but for different reasons. On one hand, you have the herbs which need a lot of care and specific conditions to grow right. On the other hand, we are looking at how to turn plant matter into fuel that people can actually use. It’s a lot of trial and error in our daily routine. The complex is usually buzzing with people going about their own business, and we are just one part of that. We aren't a massive farm with endless hectares; we focus more on the research and the processing side of things from our base here. Sometimes the smell of the dried herbs fills up the whole office, which is a nice change from the usual city smells. We keep things pretty simple. We have our notebooks, our samples, and our various bits of equipment. It’s mostly just a few of us working through the day, trying to see how we can make these natural resources work better for everyone. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just do the work and let people see the results for themselves when they come by to ask what we are up to. It is steady, quiet work that keeps us busy from morning until evening.
