HOJAI NIDHI LIMITED

HOJAI NIDHI LIMITED is over in the Rampur Basti area of Hojai. Our office is located at Nilomoni Singha’s place. Hojai is a busy town, but the Basti area has a more residential and community feel to it. You can see people walking their kids to school or going to the local shops throughout the morning. Our setup is pretty basic and functional. We have a couple of desks where we sit to manage the records and talk to anyone who comes by. The heat in Assam can be quite something in the summer, so we usually have a couple of old fans spinning to keep the air moving. Nilomoni Singha’s house is well known in this part of Rampur, so people don’t usually have a hard time finding where we are located. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist; it’s just us doing the work ourselves. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we have to be patient with the computers. We drink a lot of tea during the day, mostly bought from the small stall just down the road. It’s a simple way of living and working. We are glad to be part of the Hojai community, tucked away in this little corner of the Basti. Every day is pretty much the same, with the usual paperwork and the familiar faces of our neighbors passing by the door. It’s a quiet but steady existence here and it suits the way we like to do things without any extra fuss or unnecessary complications.
