Kheroni is a quiet place. We've been at House No. 7 on K.H.L. Road for a while. The office is right by Kheroni Ghat. It gets busy during the day with people coming in to talk about their building plans. We mostly deal with local projects. Sometimes the rain slows things down. The post office and police station are right there, which makes things easy to find. We just try to get the work done. Construction isn't easy, there are always delays with materials or the weather, but we keep at it. Most of the people around here know where we are. We've seen a lot of changes on this road over the years. It's just us, a small group of people trying to run a business in this part of the hills. We don't have a big fancy setup. Just some desks, some maps of the area, and a lot of coffee. When you walk in, you'll probably see some muddy boots near the door. That's just how it is when you spend half your day at a site. We don't do much advertising; word usually gets around when somebody needs something built or fixed up. It's a simple way of working. Sometimes we have to drive quite a bit to reach the sites further out in the hills, and those days are long. We pack some food and just go. It's what we know and what we do every day.
