Krishi Udyog Bhandar

We are located in Saswad. The name on the board says Krishi Udyog Bhandar. This place is mostly about the farmers and what they need for their land. We have bags of seeds and different tools leaning against the walls. It smells like earth and fertilizer inside most of the time. People from the nearby villages come here. They talk about the rain and the crops while we fetch what they need. We’ve been here in Saswad for a long time. The floor is often covered in a bit of dust because of the heavy bags being moved around. We don't have fancy lights or a big sign. It’s just a regular shop where we do our work. Sometimes we sit on the wooden bench outside when it’s quiet. We know which season is coming by what people start asking for. If it’s sowing time, we get busy with the seeds. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local shop for the farming community. We keep the ledger updated by hand. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We open up early because farmers start their day before the sun is even fully up. We like being part of the life here in Saswad. There’s no big corporate vibe, just us and the supplies we keep on the shelves for the next season. It's a busy life but we enjoy the work we do here in the shop and seeing our regulars every day.
