You can find us at Ii-B-30-D in Munnawer Bagh, specifically in the Railway Colony over in Alambagh, Lucknow-5. It’s an interesting spot because of the railway history around here. Essar Steel Ltd. is just one of the many offices tucked away in this neighborhood. The building is older and has that solid feel to it. It’s not one of those new glass buildings you see in the city center. We keep things pretty simple. There is a lot of noise from the trains sometimes, but you stop noticing it after a week or two. We handle the local steel orders and the administration work for this region. Most of our day is spent on the phone or dealing with local contractors. Lucknow can get very crowded, so we appreciate being in a slightly more established area like Alambagh. We have a small staff who have mostly been here for a decade or so. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the daily tasks. It’s a very local vibe here. We aren't into the corporate polish. We just want to make sure the numbers add up and the deliveries are on track. It is a humble office, but it works for us. The neighbors are mostly railway families, so it is a friendly place to be. We enjoy the local routine and the people we see.
