D.C.M.Textiles

D.C.M.Textiles is based out of the village of Kanoh, which is in the Hisar district of Haryana. We are right there in the VPO area, so it’s a very local operation. The village is quiet, mostly surrounded by fields, and you can hear the birds and the occasional tractor going by. We have a small space where we keep our textiles and handle the orders. It’s not a big factory or anything like that. It’s more of a traditional setup where we keep an eye on everything ourselves. The air is dry and the sun is hot in this part of Haryana, so we mostly work in the early mornings and late afternoons. We have some heavy wooden tables for cutting and measuring, and the shelves are usually stacked high with different fabrics. We don't do any big marketing or have a sales team. People in the district just know about us through word of mouth. Sometimes we have to head into Hisar town for supplies or to ship things out. It is a basic way of doing business, rooted in the village life. We’ve been here for years, and the people working here are all from around the area. It’s just us, the fabric, and the daily routine of the village. We just try to keep the rolls of cloth moving and the paperwork sorted out without any fuss.
