Adarsh Handicraft

Our shop, Adarsh Handicraft, is tucked away in Adarsh Market, right near the telephone exchange in Ajad Nagar. It’s easy to find if you know the area, but the market can be a bit of a maze if it's your first time visiting. We’ve been at number 21 for a good while. Most days, the place is piled up with various bits and pieces we’re working on. It’s a bit cramped in here, to be honest. We make things by hand, so there’s always dust or scraps on the floor. It’s not the quietest spot either, with all the noise from the market outside. We usually have a few people sitting in the back doing the actual work. It takes time to get things right, and we don’t like to rush because that’s when mistakes happen. Sometimes we run out of space for all the stock, so things get stacked pretty high against the walls. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the usual setup you'd expect in this part of Ajad Nagar. It's a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We just open up in the morning, check what needs doing, and get to it. Sometimes customers drop in to see how their items are coming along, and we have a chat over tea. It’s just a normal workday for us. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in.
