Fab Couture

At Fab Couture, things are usually a bit frantic. We are located at the Manbhawan Apparels site, which is SCF-84 in Urban Estate 2, right in the middle of everything. The shop is filled with rolls of fabric and half-finished garments hanging from almost every hook. You can hear the sewing machines running in the back room most of the afternoon. It is a small space, so things tend to pile up quickly. We spend a lot of time matching threads to fabrics and making sure the zippers work right. Customers come in with photos on their phones or sketches they made, and we try to figure out how to make it work. Sometimes the fabric they pick is too thin or too stiff, and we have to explain why it might not look like the picture. Urban Estate 2 is a nice enough area, but parking near the shop is always a headache for everyone. We have a couple of mirrors on the walls and a small changing area that is basically just a curtain in the corner. It is a simple setup. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle a needle and thread. The days go by fast when there are a lot of orders to finish before the weekend. We mostly just focus on getting the stitching straight and making sure the measurements are what they should be.
