Soul Kitchen

We opened Soul Kitchen on Plot No-5 near Jindal Chowk a while back. It’s right next to Lifelife Hospital, so we get a lot of people coming in who are visiting family there or just passing through the busy intersection in Hissar 125001. The place isn't fancy. We just wanted a spot where you can sit down for a bit without a lot of noise. Mornings start early here. We get the chairs moved, wipe down the tables, and start getting things ready before the sun gets too high. Hissar can get really hot, so people like coming in for the shade and a quiet corner. Most of the folks who stop by are locals from the neighborhood. We know a few of them by name now since they come in almost every day. Sometimes the traffic at the chowk gets backed up and people just duck in here to wait it out. It's just me and a couple of others working most shifts. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. Just some people trying to keep a kitchen running. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure there's enough of everything for the lunch rush. It gets busy around noon, but it’s a good kind of busy. We like being part of this little corner of the city. If you're near the hospital, you'll see our sign right there. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, but it works for us and the people who eat here.
