Shakti Neuro Science Centre

If you head down Barwale Road in Tayal Bagh, you will find us at Shakti Neuro Science Centre. It’s a specialized kind of place, given the name. Most people who come through our doors are looking for help with specific issues. We don’t have a flashy sign or anything like that. It’s just a standard building where we do our work every day. Inside, it smells a bit like cleaning supplies, which I guess is expected. We have a small team here. We see people of all ages coming in. Some look a bit worried when they arrive, so we just try to be normal with them. It’s not about being overly cheerful, just being there. The paperwork can be a bit much sometimes, but that is just part of the medical world. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and charts. Tayal Bagh is a decent area to work in. It’s relatively calm compared to the main highways. We have a few benches outside where people sit when the weather is nice. Sometimes we talk about what to have for lunch while we wait for the next person to show up. It’s a job that requires a lot of focus. We don’t do a lot of talking unless it’s about the work at hand. Every day feels a bit different depending on who walks in. We just keep the lights on and stay ready for whoever needs us. It's quiet work, but it keeps us busy enough.
