People always ask where we are and it is right here in Nejia Khera. This is Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospitals and mostly we just spend our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. It gets pretty loud in the mornings when everyone shows up at once. The lobby isn't huge but we make do with the chairs we have. Some days the fans don't feel like they are doing enough but that is just how it is in this part of the country. We have nurses running back and forth and doctors checking their charts. It is a hospital so it smells like cleaning supplies most of the time which is probably a good thing. We see a lot of people from the nearby villages coming in. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can without getting too stressed out. It is not like the big fancy hospitals in the city where everything is shiny and quiet. We are a bit more lived in here. The floor has some scuffs and the paint might be peeling in a corner or two but the equipment works and that is what matters. We just keep doing the same things every day because people need a place to go when they are not feeling right. We are just here in Nejia Khera and the doors are open.
