About Samimdas Memorial Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Hisar
We are situated out in Balsamand Village, which is part of the Hisar district. Being a village hospital means we see a different side of life than the city doctors. This place was set up as a memorial for Samimdas and it has been standing here for quite some time. The pace of life in Balsamand is steady. We deal with whatever comes our way, from seasonal fevers to injuries from the fields. It is a basic building with thick walls to keep the heat out during the Hisar summers. We do not have a fancy reception desk or a digital calling system. People just come in, sit on the benches, and wait their turn. We know most of the families around here because we have treated their parents and their kids too. It is a community thing. The road outside can get dusty when the tractors go by, but that is just part of being in the village. We have a few beds for people who need to stay over for observation. The staff is mostly local folks who understand the way things work around here. We do not use big words or try to act like we are better than anyone else. We are just here to help our neighbors stay healthy. It is hard work and the days are long, but it feels right to be here in the heart of the village.
