Rudraksha Handicraft

Rudraksha Handicraft is located at Plot No.1/167 on Rajyakavi Parmand Marg. We are very close to the bus stand, so there is always a lot of movement around us. You can hear the conductors shouting and the buses pulling in and out all day long. Our workshop is a bit small, but it’s enough for what we do. We have shelves lined with various handmade items. Some are finished and others are just half-done. We spend a lot of time sitting on stools, working on the small details of the crafts. It can be a bit chaotic with the noise from the street, but you get used to it. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, so we have to wipe everything down constantly. We aren't a big corporation. It is just a few of us here making things. We get our materials from local suppliers and try to stay busy. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s a bit quieter. People waiting for their buses sometimes wander in to pass the time. We don’t mind. It’s interesting to talk to folks from different places. We just keep doing our thing, day after day, on Rajyakavi Parmand Marg. It isn't a fancy life, but it’s our life and we are happy enough with the work.
