Ritesh Builders Private Limited is based out of Godown No. 6 in Prem Nagar, right along Balsamand Road in Hisar. It is a very hands-on kind of place. You won’t find any marble floors or glass elevators here. Instead, it’s more about concrete floors, heavy rolling doors, and the smell of building materials. The office part is just a partitioned area inside the godown where we keep the ledger books and the computers. It gets pretty hot in Hisar during the summer months, and the coolers in the office have to work overtime just to keep things bearable. There’s usually a truck or two parked outside being loaded or unloaded, so there is a lot of shouting and moving around throughout the day. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and making sure the right materials are heading to the right sites. It’s dusty work, and our boots are rarely clean. Balsamand Road is always busy with traffic, and the noise is just part of the background of our day. We drink a lot of water and tea to keep going. It’s a simple, honest setup where the focus is on the actual building work rather than looking fancy. The shelves are full of old records and spare parts, and the walls have maps of the local area pinned up everywhere. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a working godown in Hisar.
