We are based in Hisar, right in the Kanuka Mohalla area. Specifically, we operate out of the space provided by Prem Kumari and Dalip Singh. It is a very local setup, right in the heart of the community where everyone knows everyone else. Working in Hisar is different from the big cities because things feel a bit more personal here. Our office is not some high-tech center; it is a place where we sit down with people and talk about building things. We deal with a lot of dust and heat during the summer months, which can make the work on site pretty tough. Back at the office, we are usually busy keeping track of materials and making sure the workers have what they need. There is always a lot of chatter going on, mostly about local news or how the weather is going to affect the next pour. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy emails. We just write down what needs to be done and try to get it finished. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to catch up on things. It is a simple way of working. We value the fact that we are part of this neighborhood. People stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a wall or a roof, and we like it that way.
