We are situated right at Brar Chowk, on the Bus Stand Road in Haryana. It’s a noisy spot because of all the buses coming and going all day. Our place is Opal Maternity Home And Dental Clinic. It’s a bit of an unusual combination. On one side, we deal with mothers and babies, and on the other, we fix teeth. It keeps us on our toes. You might hear a baby crying in one room and a dental drill in the other. It’s never quiet here. The floor is made of hard stone that’s easy to wash down. We have to keep everything very clean, especially with the little ones around. The waiting room is often full of families. Since we are near the bus stand, we get people from the surrounding villages too. They come in tired from the travel. We have a few beds for the maternity side. They aren't the newest, but we keep the sheets fresh. On the dental side, we mostly do fillings and pull teeth that are causing trouble. We’ve been at Brar Chowk for years now. Everyone knows the building. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy decorations. We just focus on the patients who walk in.
