M/S K.S. Shop

M/S K.S. Shop is located right on High School Road, not too far from Kranti Chowk in Mandi Adampur. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy when the schools let out and the kids are everywhere. We spend most of our hours behind the counter. It’s a straightforward kind of life here. We handle a variety of items and things change depending on what's available in the market. The shop itself has been part of the landscape for a while. Usually, the day begins early when the sun is just coming up over the road. We sweep the front and get things ready for whoever might come in first. Kranti Chowk is a landmark that everyone uses for directions, so we just tell people to look for that. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and bins. Nothing too fancy or modern. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on High School Road, and we just have to wait. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the regulars who live around Mandi Adampur. It’s a practical way to earn a living. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time between the morning and evening rush. We just keep doing what we do every day.
