Mittra Homoeo Clinic

Mittra Homoeo Clinic is right at Shiv Chowk, which is a busy landmark for anyone living nearby. Homeopathy is what we do here, so the clinic is full of those tiny glass bottles and drawers full of supplies. It has a very distinct smell, kind of sweet and herbal. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular storefront in the middle of a crowded area. Shiv Chowk is always full of people and vehicles, so there is a lot of honking outside our door. Inside, though, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We have an old wooden counter where we mix the medicines. The chairs in the waiting area have been there for a long time and they’re quite comfortable. We don't have a computer at the front desk. Everything is written down in large ledgers with blue ink. The doctor takes a lot of time with each person, so the wait can be a bit long sometimes. People usually don't mind, though. They sit and talk to each other about the news or the local weather. It feels more like a neighborhood meeting spot than a medical clinic sometimes. We’ve been part of the Shiv Chowk community for a long time and most of our patients are like old friends. It’s a small, quiet business that just keeps ticking along every day. We hope to stay right here for years to come.
