Mata Sarswati Coaching Centre

This is the Mata Sarswati Coaching Centre out in Mallekan, Sirsa. It is a small place, not like those huge institutes you see in the middle of the city. We are right here in the village area where things are a bit slower. The building is basic, just brick and some plaster that we have to touch up every few years. Most of the kids come from the nearby farms or the houses just down the road. I usually spend my mornings cleaning the dust off the plastic chairs because Sirsa gets very dusty in the summer months. There is no big neon sign, just a board near the entrance so people know where to turn off the main path. We use a lot of chalk and paper every day. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just open all the windows to get some air inside. It gets hot, but nobody really complains much about it. My family has been in this part of Haryana for a long time, so people in the village know us well. We are not trying to do anything big or corporate, just keeping the center running day by day. I usually walk to work or take my old cycle if I am running a bit late. You can hear the tractors going by while we are working inside. It is a quiet life, really, just books and the occasional tea break.
