Leekha Hospital

We are over in Model Town, and most folks just know us as Leekha Hospital. We’ve been in this part of town for a very long time. The neighborhood has changed a lot around us, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. The building is a bit older, which gives it some character, I suppose. We don't have any of that slick, modern branding. We just have our name on the front and a door that’s always open for those who need us. Inside, it’s usually humming with activity. Nurses are checking on people and the doctors are moving between rooms. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we know how to do. Model Town is a good community, and we feel like a part of the fabric here. We see the same people at the market and on the streets every day. When someone comes in, they aren't just a number to us. We remember their names and their families. It’s a very personal way of doing things. The rooms are basic, and we don't have fancy coffee machines in the lobby. We just focus on the patients and getting them back on their feet. Some days are long and exhausting, but then someone says thank you and it makes it worth it. We’re just a local hospital trying to do a decent job for our neighbors. It is simple, hard work, and we are okay with that.
