Laxmi Overseas

Laxmi Overseas has been here in Sant Nagar for a while now. We mostly handle export stuff and shipping things out to different places. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something going on right outside our door. Most of us here have been working together for years. It’s not a fancy office, just a plain place where we get the work done. Usually, the morning starts with checking lists and seeing what needs to move first. We deal with a lot of paperwork and making sure everything is packed right. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a short break. It's just a normal daily routine for us. People ask us how we handle the international side of things from this small spot, but we just do it one day at a time. It gets really hot in the afternoons here, especially during the summer. We have a few old desks and a lot of files stacked up. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at shipping schedules on the computer. We don’t really have a big team, just a few people who know how the system works. Sant Nagar is a good place because it’s easy for the transport guys to find our building. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to stay late to fix it. That’s just how it goes in this kind of business. We don’t really do anything flashy. We just make sure the goods get where they need to go. It's honest work and we like it.
