This is the local base for Jindal Stainless Limited, Hisar in the 125001 area of Haryana. Basant Kunj is more than just an address to us; it is where we spend the bulk of our week dealing with all things stainless steel. The area is quite settled and has a very traditional feel to it. Being behind a landmark like Nirankari Bhawan means we get a lot of people asking for directions, which we don't mind at all. The building itself has a bit of character, definitely not a modern glass box. Inside, it is all about the work. We have desks cluttered with papers, half-empty tea cups, and the general mess that comes with a busy office. We don't try to hide the fact that we are a working-class operation. We aren't here to give speeches or win awards; we are just here to handle the stainless steel requirements for the region. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time, though it gets a bit hectic when the big shipments are being organized. We like being part of the Subhash Nagar community and doing our part without making a big scene. It is just a regular group of people doing a regular job in Hisar.
