Jindal Stainles Limited, Hisar

Our place is at 29 Daya Nand Colony, right near the road where the Jindal Hospital is. Being in Hissar, everyone knows the name and what we do here. Stainless steel is basically the lifeblood of this town. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical building in Model Town where we manage the daily grind. We have people coming in and out all day, mostly locals we’ve known for a decade or more. It’s a bit crowded with all the files and the samples of metal we keep on the shelves. You can hear the hospital traffic outside, but you get used to it. We don't put on any acts here. If the coffee is cold, it’s cold. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trucks don’t get stuck in the narrow lanes. Working here feels like being part of the furniture because we’ve been at this address so long. We know the guy who sells tea at the corner and the people at the bank nearby. It’s a community thing as much as it is a business. We handle the metal, we do the math, and we go home. It’s a steady way to live and we don't see any reason to change it. There is always more work to be done tomorrow, so we just keep moving.
