If you head down Chautala Road towards Village Jalphar, you’ll find us at the Balaji Overseas site. Jaibalaji Hometex is based right there in a spot that feels a bit more rural than the big city centers. Being out near the village means we have a bit more space, but the dust from the road is a constant battle. We work with home textiles, mostly things that people use in their houses every day. The setup is pretty basic, with big rooms for the looms or the storage of finished goods. You can hear the machines from the road if the wind is blowing the right way. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby areas, so there is a lot of local talk during the shifts. We aren't a high-tech operation with robots or anything. It’s mostly people using their hands and watching the machines carefully. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around or use the generator, which is just part of living in this area. We focus on getting the orders out on time, even when the transport trucks have trouble finding the village entrance. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy bundles and checking for snags in the cloth. We don't have a polished front office for visitors, just a small corner with some chairs and a table. We’re just regular folks doing our jobs in Jalphar, making sure the textiles get finished and sent out.
