We have been here at House No. 479 for a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Nathupur Sauda and folks mostly know us because we’ve lived in the village forever. Running Ghar Grihasthi Chitfunds Private Limited out of this house makes things easy for everyone who stops by. We aren't some big city bank with glass walls and uniforms. Usually, you’ll find us sitting around the front area just talking through the paperwork with whoever comes in. It gets busy during certain times of the month when people want to sort out their bits of money. It’s a local setup. We handle the chit fund stuff because that’s what people in the village asked for. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the files. It is what it is. We try to keep things clear and simple for the neighbors. Nobody here wears a tie or anything fancy. You just walk in and we see what needs doing. The office is right where the village life happens. There’s no big sign but everyone knows where the 479 house is. We just keep the records and help the local families save their cash together. It works for us and it works for the folks nearby. Nothing too complicated. Just a regular day here in the VPO area, making sure the ledgers are right and the tea is hot.
