Chhimpa Clinic

Being out here in Vill Gudia Khera means things are pretty different from the main Sirsa city. We are located right in the heart of the village area under the Sirsa-Haryana pincode 125056. The clinic is a small place, just enough room for us to sit and talk to the people who come in. Most of our visitors are local farmers or families who have lived in Gudia Khera for generations. You can hear the tractors passing by on the road outside all day long. The air is different here, smells like the fields and sometimes like rain if the season is right. We have a simple setup with a wooden desk and some metal cabinets where we keep the supplies. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning and glass doors; we just keep the main door open to let the breeze in. My days are mostly spent listening to people talk about their aches or their kids getting a fever. Since it’s a village, everyone knows everyone else’s business, so the clinic often feels like a bit of a meeting spot too. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns being here. Sirsa Ho is the main hub, but we prefer staying out here where we are actually needed. It’s a lot of hard work, but it feels right to be part of the village life.
