Bic Logistics Ventures Ltd. is based right here in Kheri Jalab. This is a village in the Hisar district of Haryana. We are surrounded by farmland mostly. Our office is not hard to find if you are coming from the main road. We have a few rooms where we keep our records and a small area for the staff to rest. It is a local business through and through. Most of the people working here are from Kheri Jalab or the nearby villages. We handle a lot of transport work which means there is always noise from engines idling outside. The weather in Hisar can be quite extreme, either very cold or very hot, so we have to plan our work around that. We don't use much big talk or fancy systems, just a lot of hard work and keeping our word. When someone needs something moved, they come to us because we are right here in the community. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with different people. It can be a bit chaotic on Mondays when everyone wants their goods moved at once. We just take it one task at a time and try to keep things organized. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. It is a good way to stay connected with what is happening in the village while we do our jobs in this corner of India.
