Baba Boliya Exim (Opc) Private Limited is based out of a place called Bass Khurd, which is a small area in the Hissar district. The office is registered under Atar Singh, and it’s a much more rural setting than the big city offices you see in Gurgaon or Delhi. We don’t have a high-rise building or a glass front. It’s just a simple room where we manage our export and import business. In a place like Hissar, things move at a slightly different pace, which we actually quite like. There is more space, and you can actually see the horizon without a building blocking it. Our daily routine involves a lot of phone work because we have to stay connected with people in the bigger cities and ports. We handle everything ourselves, from the initial paperwork to making sure the trucks find their way to the right destination. It’s a small-scale operation, but we take it seriously. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a few hours, so we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We know our neighbors and the people in the village, and that’s just how it is. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our own, and we are proud to be running an international business from a quiet spot like Bass Khurd.
