Alert Security Systems

Our shop is at 273, Cue-1, right in the Green Square Market. We are directly opposite Agarsain Bhawan, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Being in the market means there is never a dull moment. There are people walking by all the time and vendors shouting out their prices. Our space is filled with all sorts of security gear. We have cameras sitting on the shelves and rolls of wire tucked under the counters. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. We usually have a fan pointed right at the main desk because the market gets very hot in the afternoons. The smell of street food from the nearby stalls often drifts in, making us hungry long before lunchtime. We spend our days chatting with customers and showing them how the different systems work. It’s a lot of hands-on stuff. Sometimes we have to climb up on a ladder to reach the stock on the top shelves. The floor is concrete and shows every bit of dirt, so we try to sweep it at least once a day. Green Square Market is a lively place to be, and we enjoy the energy of it. At Alert Security Systems, we just take things one customer at a time. When the market starts to wind down in the evening, we pack everything away and pull down the metal gate. It’s a good day's work.
