You’ll find us in Satrod Khass, which is in the Hisar district of Haryana. We operate out of Sher Singh’s place. It’s a very traditional setup, not like the glass offices you see in the big cities. Being based in a village area like Satrod Khass means we are right in the heart of the community we serve. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a fleet of cars. Most of us get around on motorbikes or just walk. Our work is all about welfare, helping out the people living in and around Hissar. We handle a lot of different things, from helping local farmers to looking after elderly neighbors. It’s a very hands-on job. There is always someone dropping by for a cup of chai and a chat about some problem they are facing. We listen and see what we can do to help. The atmosphere here is very informal. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings. We just sit together and figure things out. It’s a simple life, but the work feels important because we see the results right outside our door. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we care deeply about what happens to this place. It’s about looking after our own people and making sure no one gets left behind. That’s pretty much how we spend our days here in Satrod Khass.
