Jay Granites

Jay Granites is located out near Srinivasa Layout on Mysore Road. We are part of the Chitadurga taluka area. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but being on Mysore Road means we see a lot of travelers and trucks passing by. We deal with granite, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting going on here. The yard is usually full of slabs. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s more of a working space where the stone is kept. The post office is nearby too. Working in Chitadurga has its own pace. It’s not like the big city. We take things as they come. The sun can be quite hot on the Mysore Road stretch, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don't use any marketing tricks. What you see is what you get. Just stones and people who know how to handle them. Srinivasa Layout is a quiet neighbor to have. Most of the time it’s just the sound of the wind and the traffic from the main road. We’ve been at this spot for a while. It’s a simple setup. We spend our days outside or in the shed. We don't have many fancy chairs or a big desk. We just have granite and a place to put it. It’s a tough job but it’s what we know and how we spend our time.
