Shri Chintamani Hospital

Shri Chintamani Hospital is located in Swami Vivekanand Nagar, over in the Parli - Vaijnath area. We’ve been part of the landscape here for quite a few years now. The hospital is a multi-story building, but it’s not one of those huge city hospitals where you get lost in the hallways. It’s small enough that most of us know which room is which without looking at the numbers. Parli TPS is nearby, so we get a lot of workers and their families coming in. The lobby is usually a bit crowded, and the ceiling fans are always spinning to keep the air moving. We have a few benches that have seen better days, with the cushions getting a bit thin. It’s a practical place, focused on getting people the care they need without a lot of extra fluff. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just write out instructions on paper and talk to the families directly. Sometimes the water cooler leaks a little bit on the floor, so we have to keep a mop handy. It’s just a normal hospital run by people who live right here in Parli. We deal with everything from broken bones to fevers and we just take it one patient at a time. It’s a lot of long hours and hard work, but it’s a necessary part of the neighborhood for everyone living around here.
