There is a lot of lifting and moving crates before the sun even comes up properly. Once the milk is sorted, we shift our focus to the ice cream part of the shop. It is a bit of a tight space, but we make it work with what we have. People from the nearby houses come in for their daily needs, and then in the evening, the kids show up for treats. We don’t have fancy chairs or anything, just a basic counter and the coolers. Sometimes the street gets narrow and crowded with bikes, but that is just part of living in Sonpeth. We have been here a while and know the local families well. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to checking the stock. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. The weather really dictates how much ice cream we sell, so some weeks are much busier than others. We don't spend money on big signs or anything.
