Lokpriya Urban Nidhi Limited

Our small office is set up at the home of Shri Naryan Bandu Raut in Soyagaon Devi. We are in the Bokardhan area of Jalna, which is a place where life moves a bit slower than the big cities. We aren't a massive company with branches everywhere. We are just a local Nidhi meant for the people living right here in our village and the nearby areas. Most of the time, the atmosphere is very informal. People walk in, say hello, and we talk about the daily happenings before we even look at the passbooks. We keep our records in a simple way that everyone can understand. Since we are based in a residence, it feels more like visiting a friend than going to a bank. We handle the deposits and the small loans that help people get through the month or start a small project. Jalna can be quite dusty and hot, so we usually keep the fans going and try to get the main work done before the heat of the afternoon sets in. We don’t do any advertising. Word travels fast enough in Soyagaon Devi, and people know where to find us if they need us. It is all about being a part of the local fabric and helping out our neighbors. We take our responsibility seriously, but we don't feel the need to be stiff or corporate about it. It’s just us, doing our part for the village.
