Jinturkar Krishi Sewa Kendra

Jinturkar Krishi Sewa Kendra is right in the heart of Indira Market in the Kalamnuri District. This is a place where people from all over the area come to get what they need for their fields. The market is always a hub of activity, especially early in the morning when the farmers arrive. Our shop is filled with bags of seeds, various tools, and supplies that change depending on the season. During the planting months, we barely have a moment to sit down because there is a constant stream of people asking for advice or looking for specific items. The floor is often a bit dusty from the bags of fertilizer, and the shelves are packed tight to make use of every inch of space we have. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and many of the faces we see are people we have known for years. We don't have a big corporate strategy; we just try to have the right stuff in stock when the rain starts or when it’s time to harvest. The district is mostly agricultural, so our lives follow the rhythm of the crops. Sometimes the power goes out in the market, but we just keep working by the light of the doorway. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We close up when the market slows down in the evening and get ready to do it all again the next day.
