Jijmata Balak Mandir

In the Vakil Colony area of Gangakhed, we have our small school called Jijmata Balak Mandir. It is specifically for the younger children in the Parbhani district who are just starting out. We have been operating from this location for quite some time, and it has become a familiar spot for the people living nearby. The building itself is modest, tucked away in the colony where it is a bit quieter than the main roads. We spend our days managing the little ones, which is always an adventure. There is a lot of singing and basic drawing involved in what we do. We do not use a lot of complicated words or methods. It is just about helping the kids get used to a classroom setting. The staff here are mostly from Gangakhed themselves, so they speak the same language as the parents and understand the local way of life. Sometimes the playground gets a bit dusty, and things can get a little messy with the art projects, but that is just part of the job. We do not try to pretend we are some high-end private academy. We are a local school for local families, and we take pride in just being a steady part of the neighborhood. Every morning the gates open, and every afternoon the kids head home to their families. It is a simple, honest cycle that we have been doing for years now. It works for the kids and it works for us.
