Guru Ayurved Hospital & Research Center

We are located on Basmat Road in RamKrushan Nagar. The Chintamani Temple is nearby, so we get a lot of people stopping by after they visit the temple. Our place is all about Ayurveda. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of dried herbs and different oils. It is a strong scent, but most people find it relaxing after a while. We have a few rooms in the back for treatments and a space where we look at old texts to understand different plants and their uses. The research part is just us trying to figure out better ways to mix things. The building is older, with high ceilings that help keep it cool. We don't have air conditioning in every room because the natural air feels better for what we do. The courtyard has some plants growing in pots, mostly things we use in the kitchen or for small remedies. People come from all over Basmat Road because they prefer the old ways of doing things. We don't have fancy computer screens in the waiting area. Instead, we have some old wooden benches and a few posters about health. The staff knows how to prepare the pastes and oils the right way, which takes time. It is a slow process, but we aren't in a big rush here. It’s just how the hospital runs every day of the week.
