Agroline Farmers Producer Company Limited works out of Ganesh Peth. Our spot is at Shaikh Mohaseen Karimoddin’s place, building B/1076. It is a busy area and we are always coming and going. Most of the people involved here have been farming their whole lives. We decided to put this company together to handle the business side of things. It’s mostly about getting the produce where it needs to go without too much trouble. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around the table looking at notes. It isn't a corporate setup with desks and computers everywhere. It is more about the people and the crops they bring in from the nearby fields. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, but we just deal with it as it comes. We have been here for a bit now and everyone in the neighborhood knows who we are. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just focus on the daily tasks like sorting out transport or checking the quality of what’s been grown. It gets a bit noisy in the Peth sometimes but it’s a good place to be located for work. We keep our records in a simple way and make sure the farmers get what they need to keep their own land running. That is basically how we spend our days and nights making sure everything gets sorted out correctly. The 431512 area is where we do most of our gathering.
