Vasanth & Co

Vasanth & Co is based at 508 in Chowluru, over in Anantapur. It’s a quiet enough place compared to the big cities, and we like the pace here. We’ve been doing this for a while and our building is just a simple structure on the main street. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a jumble of different items we have for sale. We don’t have a lot of fancy displays or bright lights. It’s more about having what people need when they come through the door. Some days it’s just the same few people stopping by for a chat and a purchase. We know most of our customers by name and their families too. It’s a small-town kind of business. The weather in Anantapur can be quite dry, so the shop stays a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep. We don’t spend money on marketing or anything like that because everyone around here already knows where we are. We just open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when it’s slow. It’s a modest way to live and work. We don’t have any grand plans to expand or anything, we’re just happy being a part of Chowluru. It’s a practical life and we just take things as they come without any fuss. It’s been this way for a long time and we don't see any reason to change it now.
