Sha Gems Industries

Our place is right on Railway Road in Anantapur, specifically at No. 3-5-24/- A. If you know the district, you know this part of town gets quite busy with people coming and going from the station. Sha Gems Industries is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s not a quiet job because there is always some noise from the tools or the street outside. We work with different types of stones and materials here. It’s the kind of work that gets your hands a bit dusty by the end of the shift. We aren’t interested in looking like a corporate headquarters. The walls have some marks on them and the desks are piled with paperwork and samples. That’s just how a real workshop looks when people are actually working. Some days are slower than others, but we usually have something to keep us occupied. We’ve been at this address for a bit and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. People drop in to ask questions about gems or just to see what we are currently working on. We don't use fancy titles for each other. We are just a group of people trying to make a living doing something we understand. It takes a lot of patience to get things right, and we don't like to rush. It’s just us, some tools, and the daily grind on Railway Road. Some of our machines are old but they still work fine for what we need.
