Sathish Kirana General Stores-

My store is tucked away in Sriharipuram, right near the Hanuman Temple in Visakhapatnam. We have been at this 25-6-262 address for a long time. It is a kirana store, so I sell things like dal, rice, and cleaning supplies. Most of my customers are the locals who walk over from their houses nearby. The temple bells in the morning are a nice way to start the day. I keep the shop open quite late because people often realize they have run out of something while cooking dinner. It is just a standard local store, nothing flashy about it. I handle the accounts myself in a thick notebook. The shelves are packed tight because we try to have a little bit of everything. Sometimes it is hard to find space for new items, but we manage. I do not use any fancy computer systems. If you want to know a price, you just ask me. It is a one-man show mostly. Visakhapatnam weather can be very humid, so I have a big fan behind the counter that runs all day long. The shop is not perfectly painted and the sign outside is a bit faded, but everyone knows we are here. It is a practical business for a working neighborhood. We just do our job and help the neighbors get their groceries without any fuss. It is a steady rhythm each and every day.
