Giri Hospital

Giri Hospital is tucked away right besides the petrol bunk over in Venkanna Palem. If you’re driving through Malkapuram in Visakhapatnam, you’ve probably seen our sign while filling up your tank. The area stays pretty loud with the trucks and bikes going by all day long. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, though. We’ve been running things here at 61-3-39/1 for some time, dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a standard hospital setup. We have the wards, the reception desk that always seems to have a pile of paperwork, and the usual smell of antiseptic hanging in the air. People come from the nearby houses mostly. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we all know how the machines hum and which doors creak when you open them. It isn’t a massive corporate building; it’s more of a local landmark for people in this part of Vizag. We spend a lot of time just talking to patients and making sure things are running okay. Sometimes the power flickers when the weather gets bad, but we just keep going. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when the heat drops a little. We just try to stay organized and help the folks who live around Malkapuram. There’s always someone coming or going, and that keeps us on our toes every single day. It is just a plain, working hospital for the local people here.
