Durga Pan Shop

Durga Pan Shop is located right on Ramalayam Street in Sriharipuram, Visakhapatnam. Our address is Sriharipuram, Visakhapatnam - 530011. It is a small place, mostly just a counter where I spend my hours every day. I sell pan, of course, but also some other small things like cigarettes or matches that people like to pick up while they are out walking. Ramalayam Street has a nice feel to it, and being here means I get to see a lot of what goes on in the neighborhood. People stop by after their meals or just when they are passing through to get somewhere else. It is a very simple business. I prepare the pan right there while they wait, and we usually have a quick chat about the day or the news. It’s not a big store with aisles and carts, just a little spot on the street corner. The weather in Visakhapatnam is often quite humid, so sitting near the door is the best way to stay a bit cool during the afternoon heat. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I’ve seen the area change a bit, but the shop stays much the same. It is a humble way to earn a living. Most of my regulars have been coming to me for years, and they know exactly what they want. We don't have any fancy signs or big lights. Just a local pan shop doing its thing.
